We are thrilled to reveal the start of the new HSBC SVNS DXB Series at the Emirates Dubai 7s this weekend with a special surprise project. To mark this occasion we invited captains of the world’s top rugby 7s teams to take the game to new heights on top of One Za’abeel, the iconic Longest Sky Cantilevered Building.

The captains were positioned along the length of one of the largest cantilevers in the world and filmed to capture the teams representing their countries from this new Dubai perspective.

We dared to prepare this first-of-its-kind stunt to celebrate the launch of the HSBC SVNS series and the Emirates Dubai 7s 2023 with upcoming rugby action, sports celebration, and off-field activities.

With Monday declared a public holiday, we have extended the Sunday opening hours until 11.45 pm. Live music and DJ sets will now continue at the Rugby Rocks stage and at Beats on 2 with even more crowd-favourite singalongs and guitar band tributes. Join the celebration of your favourite teams in WodOn3, Rebound, Rugby, Netball, and Cricket late into the evening without worrying about Monday.
