SPECTATOR CHECKLIST

  1. UAE Residents & Citizens: Proof of full vaccination (second dose administered at least 14 days before) ready to present on entry via the Al Hosn app. Children under 12 are not required to present this.
  2. International guests: Either i) Proof of full WHO approved vaccination (second dose administered at least 14 days before) ready to present on entry via a vaccination certificate or ii) a negative PCR test result within 72 hours of attendance to the first day of entry. Children under 12 are not required to do this. International guests will also require photographic identification for verification.
  3. Download The Emirates Dubai 7s App to your smartphone to access your tickets and be ready to show your ticket on your own device at the entry gates.
  4. Read and comply with the COVID-19 Code of Conduct
  5. Face mask to be worn unless you are (i) seated at your table, (ii) eating or drinking, or (iii) exempt for medical reasons.

We reserve the right to impose health and safety related protocols which spectators must comply with while attending The Emirates Dubai 7s, including but not limited to physical distancing measures and the use of face masks. Any spectators who refuse or fail to comply with such conditions may have their tickets cancelled, be refused entry or be removed from the event.

All spectators who choose to attend The Emirates Dubai 7s do so in the knowledge that they may be exposed to and/or at increased risk of contracting COVID-19 or any other communicable disease.

 

CODE OF CONDUCT

Ticket Holders and Hospitality Customers
You understand and accept that your attendance at The Emirates Dubai 7s is conditional upon you agreeing to abide by a set of mandatory protocols designed for the personal and collective health and safety of all those attending the event. Compliance with these protocols is essential, both to mitigate against the transmission of COVID-19 and to mitigate against large numbers of contacts being traced. You acknowledge that your actions have a direct impact on the staging of the event.

Health Monitoring
Everyone attending the event has a duty of care to monitor their own health. Any person showing symptoms of COVID-19 should not attend the event but should instead self-isolate and follow local government guidance. Common symptoms include:

  • Fever (having a temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius or higher).
  • New continuous cough.
  • New loss of or change to your sense of taste and/or smell.

Social Distancing
Social distancing must be observed at all times at the event. These will primarily be around food and beverage outlets and seating locations. Signage will be displayed at the entrances to and throughout the venue and to remind you to maintain a safe distance from others and practice good hygiene.

Face Coverings
Face coverings must be worn at all times, unless you are (i) seated at your table, (ii) eating or drinking, or (iii) exempt for medical reasons. Children under the age of 12 are not required to wear face coverings.

Handwashing and Hygiene
Enhanced handwashing and sanitising must be undertaken. Handwashing and sanitising stations will be located throughout the venue.

UAE Residents & Citizens: Proof of Vaccination
In order to gain entry to the venue, all UAE residents & citizen spectators will be required to provide proof at the entry gates on each day of attendance of a vaccination administered at least 14 days before attendance by vaccination certificate through the Al Hosn app. All UAE residents or citizens must be fully vaccinated to attend the event.

International Guests: Proof of Negative Test or Vaccination
In order to gain entry to the venue, all international spectators will be required to provide proof at the entry gates on each day of attendance of either: (i) full (two doses) WHO approved COVID-19 vaccination administered at least 14 days before attendance by vaccination certificate or (ii) a negative PCR test result within 72 hours of attendance to the first day of entry. It is therefore advised that all PCR tests are to be conducted on/after the 28th of November to ensure it remains valid for the duration of the tournament.

Failure to Comply
This COVID-19 Code of Conduct applies to all ticket holders and hospitality customers attending The Emirates Dubai 7s. Any person who fails to comply with the terms of this COVID-19 Code of Conduct may have their tickets or hospitality passes cancelled and/or be refused entry to, or removed from, the event.

Changes to this Charter
Information on COVID-19 may change and the tournament reserves the right to amend this COVID-19 Code of Conduct based on the latest international best practices and Government guidance.

 

COVID-19 | FAQs

Do I need to be fully vaccinated to attend the event?
All UAE residents and citizens will be required to be fully vaccinated to attend the event unless exempt on medical grounds. International guests who have not had readily available access to vaccinations in their home country will be allowed to provide a negative PCR test with a 72-hour validity on entry on day 1. It is therefore advised that all PCR tests are to be conducted on/after the 28th of November to ensure it remains valid for the duration of the tournament.

What is classified as being fully vaccinated?
Fully vaccinated is classified as full (two doses) WHO approved COVID-19 vaccination administered at least 14 days before attendance to the event.

How can I provide proof of vaccination?
International guests will be asked to provide a vaccine certificate at the entry to the tournament which outlines a full (two dose) WHO approved COVID-19 vaccination administered at least 14 days before attendance. This certificate must be the acceptable form of verification used in your home country. For example:

  • United Kingdom – via the NHS App Covid Pass, or via printed PDF
  • Europe – via the EU vaccination passport

The guest should also include a photographic ID for verification.


Can I enter with a negative PCR test if I am not vaccinated?
Only International guests are allowed to enter on a negative PCR test with a 72-hour validity from entry to day 1 of the tournament. It is therefore advised that all PCR tests are to be conducted on/after the 28th of November to ensure it remains valid for the duration of the tournament.
All UAE residents and citizens must be fully vaccinated to attend the event.

What is the Al Hosn App?
The ALHOSN UAE app is the official integrated digital platform for COVID-19 tests & vaccinations in the UAE through which individuals can receive COVID-19 test results & vaccination certificates on their smartphones.

What status does my Al Hosn app need to be to access the tournament?
The Al Hosn app will grant entry to anybody whose profile demonstrates full (two doses) WHO approved COVID-19 vaccination administered at least 14 days before attendance at the event. This will be shown underneath the QR code on your profile within the app.

Are children (under 18s) allowed to attend the tournament?
Children under the age of 18 are allowed to attend the event:

  • Children 11 years and younger will require a free ticket to enter which is accessible through the app.
  • Children aged 12 years and older will have to purchase a general admission ticket to enter which is accessible through the app

Does my child need to be fully vaccinated or have a PCR test to enter?
Children 11 years and younger will not require to be fully vaccinated or have a negative PCR to enter
