Emirates Dubai 7s is done for another year! Kicking off on Friday, 1 December and concluding our 53rd edition with resounding success on Sunday, 3 December, we well and truly cemented our position as the greatest sport and entertainment festival in the Middle East!

80,000 of you from all over the world came to Dubai to cheer on their favourite teams in the opening tournament of the HSBC SVNS series whilst soaking up a wide range of entertainment, music and family experiences across the weekend.

Double Brits Award winner Becky Hill and acclaimed record producer and DJ, MK, set the Frequency on 8 stage ablaze on Saturday, 2 December. Whilst UK legends DJ Luck & MC Neat and Artful Dodger were even more captivating and iconic than we had imagined as they brought record-breaking crowds to our Beats on 2 bar.

Alongside the rugby 7s action on Pitch 1 and 2, the festival attracted more than 6,000 athletes across 16 rugby tournaments, 6 netball competitions, 3 cricket and the WODON3 fitness tournaments - the festival site was buzzing all weekend!

New to this year's festival was our Padel tournament; Rebound, which added even more excitement to the expansive sporting schedule with a huge numbers of athletes turning up to play in the heart of the festival site, right next to the Pitch 1 action!

In another first for 2023, our esteemed cricket and rugby ambassadors, namely Greg O'Shea and Darren Gough, offered a series of once-in-a-lifetime masterclasses to children and adults alike to help improve their sporting skills.

We can't wait for next year already!

Photos from the festival are available on the Dubai 7s Facebook page, and keep an eye out on our socials and website for the 2024 date announcement very soon!
