You're going to have the time of your life at the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens. And to make sure you have the best possible experience, we’ve answered some of the most frequently asked questions below, plus a few tips on how to make the most of your visit to the biggest sporting and social event in the Middle East.
The Sevens Stadium, Emirates’ purpose-built sporting complex, is 12km past the Outlet Mall & 2km past exit 30, on the Dubai-Al Ain Road. It’s signposted, but it’s still worth checking on Google Maps before you leave.
There’s no such thing as ‘fashionably late’ at the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens – come early so you don’t miss anything as there are some great games on. Turn up, settle in, watch all the action on the pitch and make the most of the activities around and about the venue. Gates open at 7.30am for general admission, and 8.00am for The VIP Experience.
The last match finishes at around 9pm on all three days. But you're welcome to stay on and enjoy everything on offer in the Rugby Village – hang out, join in, enjoy the fantastic buzz and soak up the party atmosphere. On Friday night you can enjoy Kylie Minogue in concert and Saturday night we will have more entertainment for you!
It's better to leave your car at home and take a taxi - then you can relax and enjoy the day without the worry of having to drive home. But there are more than 12,000 car park spaces available, so you’ve got the option if you do want to drive. If you’re coming by taxi, or you wish to leave the car until the next day, don't forget there’s a free bus service to take fans back to handy locations across Dubai and Careem is also on hand if you want to book a car home.

Children under 12 get in free with a parent or guardian. Children aged 12 and over will need the relevant valid ticket for entry.
In The VIP Experience, children under 3 get in free with a parent or guardian. Children aged 3 and over will need a valid ticket for entry.
Of course. You’ll be given a wristband when you first get to the venue and you’ll need this to move between locations and to show to security when you re-enter the stadium. Wristbands can’t be replaced; please keep hold of your ticket stub.
Yes. We’ve got 2,000 seats dedicated to making your family day fun and memorable and there’s a designated entry to The Sevens Stadium just for families. If you’ve got children with you, get there early and settle in to our dedicated, alcohol-free family area – it’ll be easy to find, and clearly marked on the tournament guide.
Stands - Wheelchair access is available for all grandstands but those in Reserved Seating and in The VIP Experience should speak to the ticket office in advance on 043210008.
Yes, there will be a booth on site where you can buy sun cream, sunglasses, visors and hats so we’ve got you covered!
Kylie Minogue will be on stage on pitch 2 at 9.30pm. You will have access to the concert area from 8.30pm, in the meantime you can watch all the matches on the other pitches and enjoy the Rugby Village atmosphere.

For the very little ones we have a dedicated nursery, with qualified supervision, to make sure that parents can enjoy the rugby knowing that their children are being well looked after.
Yes. Security procedures are in place at entrances, and we ask you to comply with any request to have a bag or anything else you’re carrying searched by an authorised person. Anyone who refuses may not be allowed to enter the venue.
Sorry, no. But there are loads of places to grab a bite to eat and drinks in the Rugby Village, with something for everyone, including vegetarian and healthy eating options for adults and children.
No problem. HSBC bank will provide ATM machines at the venue.
Yes. First Aid stations will be easy to find, and clearly marked. There are medics on site who are fully equipped to deal with all situations.
In an emergency please contact the nearest member of Dubai Police, or ask a security steward for help.
Yes, there is a lost & found booth which will be easy to find, and clearly marked on the tournament guide and will be operational on all three days of the tournament.

Sorry, no hover boards or selfie sticks will be allowed past event security. We will be able to store them for collection on departure.
There are a number of options for tickets. Firstly, remember Thursday 5th December is free entry – so no need for a ticket plus those aged under 12 receive free entry all weekend long!
