The annual Emirates Dubai 7s Long Lunch returned with a bang, after a 2-year break due to COVID-19, with James Haskell and Ben Ryan entertaining guests of the tournament at the JWMM Dubai Ballroom.

Over 650 guests attended the Long Lunch which is part of the excitement and build-up for the Emirates Dubai 7s which will return in 2021 on December 2^nd to 4^th at The Sevens Stadium.

Haskell and Ryan took centre stage entertaining the crowd with stories about their career and sharing anecdotes about the different characters and experiences they have encountered across their professional careers on and off the rugby pitch.

As per previous years, the Long Lunch raised considerable money, with thanks to the auction (run by the energetic Haskell) and raffle, which will go towards a new programme ‘Dubai 7s For Good’. A CSR programme in partnership with Impact Adventures which will see the Emirates Dubai 7s use the power of sport to make a change in disadvantaged countries around the world.
